Like any decent recovery programme, the programme folder suffices. You can store that on u USB-stick and run from there. The 64 bit version does not run on a 32 bit machine. But the 32 bit version works on a 64 bitter.
The files to be recovered can be shown in type, location and time.
It found more than 200,000 files on a virtual Windows 7 64 Pro machine. If all could be recovered, that would mean more than 80 GB. Amazing, as the virtual machine has a 25 GB size. But I could recover a large number of "lost" Wndows png's..

TAYLOR, LMAO "shredded files" are NOT deleted files but overwritten at least once. Even NSA and other nation states labs cannot recover properly overwritten data (aka shredded files)
If you want to critique the description the use of "lost files due to ".. "erasure" is false since erasure means either secure erase ATA command or one or more overwrites of original data as well as directory entry destruction via renames and file length truncation to zero after file expansion to end of last cluster and overwritten at least once. Just plain file deletion or deletion from recycle bin on an SSD in an interface under the control or an operating system that supports TRIM or SCSI Deallocate command also practically erases deleted items as well as deleted partitions/volumes. Rendering previous data irretrievable without accessing the SSD FLASH memory chips directly and imediately.

Title of the post says "Win&Mac", but system requirements says "Windows 2000/Vista/ 7/ 8/8.1/10 and Windows Server" with no mention of Mac. Which is correct please?
From the readme.txt: "Unzip the package you`ve downloaded and install the software by running Setup.exe (for Windows) or Setup.dmg (for Mac)"
Registered with no problems. Scan began and quickly paused itself: "Scanning .... Found: 1256 Files Estimated time remaining: 10:36:27" I restarted and it returned to the same point.

На WinXP SP3 работает. С не читаемой системой SD-card восстановила почти всё, причём больше, чем "старушка" Recuva.
